Top international racers made their way to the UAE once again to compete at the final round of the UAE Championship in Abu Dhabi. Raphael Maurin (FRA), King's Cup Winner and Vice World Champion sealed the final win of the season. Reiterers hopes, to end the season where he started it, fell short in the first Moto due to a technical failure. Nevertheless, with a great lead in the Championship the Austrian defended his Title and gave Victory Team their first UAE Aquabike Championship. “It was a cool race and I was able to push hard on my own backup ski in the second Moto. Unfortunately, we had a DNF in the first Moto which took us out of the podium hunt. Our focus now lies fully on the World Championship which starts in May. The preparation has been great throughout the winter and I feel in a great place to contend for another title.”
