According to this accidental photo taken in Dana Point Kawasaki is working on a new Runabout. The news have been confirmed in Europe however what Kawasaki plans to launch next September? Since its market share in pwc sales is very low we assume the Akashi manufacturer will come up with a smart and low cost solution. In other words according to this photo it will be a new LX with a redesigned hood, bumpers and mirrors, possibly and seat unit. There were some thoughts in the past to launch a mixture of STX-15F bottom with an Ultra top deck since the 15F provides better top speed and the Ultra deck improves the overall ergonomics. Also, it improve the volume in the engine compartment so it could possibly accommodate a supercharged engine in the future. The STX hull has been race approved since it has won National and World titles with three different engine packages (1100cc, 1200cc and Supercherged1600cc). However, such a Jet Ski would never come out of the production line of Kawasaki… So most possibly we expect to see a revamped version of the Natural Aspirated LX. Stay tuned…
