>Three seater XP 800

The pictured Sea Doo is not a new model from the company but a handcrafted idea, made in Greece. Nestor Bechlis visualized it and built this particular hull (and deck) by using two XP 800 bodies. The new craft accommodates a XP800 engine in it. His builder, Nestor is quite pleased with the performance especially its straight line stability, though he mentions that running in a close course does not make him feel comfortable. Nestor needed a lot of working hours in order to make his dream come true and is still working on some up dates. Well done my friend…

>Yamaha on top of sales

According to the recent, official report of Icomia, Motodynamincs S.A.A. (Importers of Yamaha in Greece) they reached the top in sales of the personal watercraft in Greece during the first six months of 2006. The sales rose to 62.07% of the Greek market (in respect to the 58.59% of 2005) between Kawasaki and Sea Doo. In other words, the company sold 90 Wave Runners, most of which were the new four stroke VX 100.

>New Kawasaki Supercharged

According to a confirmed source Kawasaki plans to release two new Jet Ski’s this year. One of them will be a new Supercharged Runabout. We already knew that the company was developing a new hull, in order to put a larger diameter pump and also enhance the output of the supercharged engine. The Factory Kawasaki Team has already seen over 400hp on the dyno, therefore we expect to see an engine with more than 200hp, in order to use pump gas. The pictured Jet Ski shows the new designed deck, and the steering system that resembles that of the Yamaha FX, the new two-piece seat, meanwhile at the front of the storage cover there is small air duct. >Dainese for the jet skiers

The famous Italian firm of motorcycle clothing has entered dynamically in the personal water craft (pwc) scene, introducing a full range of products for the racers and pwc enthusiasts. A unique feature of the life vest is the built in back protector, a feature extremely valuable for the racer and the riders in extreme situations. The wet suit is a Long John type, constructed of thin neoprene and it also has outer elastic protectors on the knees area. The Italian firm has designed a nice pair of gloves that provide good feeling and great fitting. The Dainese pwc line up is available at the Dainese Pro Shop Kallirois (tel.: 210-9220 152).

>Outboard Jet Ski

Actually, it is a small power boat, with the dimensions and the shape of a personal water craft. The moulds were originally designed somewhere in Italy, even though it is manufactured in Greece. It is equipped with an outboard engine (25hp), which is fed through two petrol tanks that are situated under the seat, and its total weight is kept very low. Its owner, Mr Anastasios Ioannidis, told us that its top speed is around 27mph, though the good thing about it is that is has very low fuel consumption.
