Replacing the OEM steering system on a Runabout not only alters the riders ergonomics but also provides a stronger steering pole that can withstand the higher forces that are applied during race conditions. Some companies offer cheaper solutions that usually provide part of the steering system. Such a system weakens the whole steering pole and when higher forces are applied it breaks like
a cucumber. To avoid any hazards it is advised to install from the beginning a proper heavy duty steering system in order to avoid any nasty surprises.

The engine is fed by dual Novi new generation carbs and a set of pneumatic power valves are installed at the exhaust side. Note the tricky gas tank that keeps the minimum gas needed for practice or race. The ignition comes from MSD and originally designed for the particular engine.
