Last year Frenchman Fanky Zapata made a point when he practically showed to everyone out in the course how fast his home made race craft was. On Friday he was ahead on his Runabout and also made a good appearance at the GP Ski class with his brand new race craft. According to Franky his race Ski is homologated in Europe and soon it will be legal for racing in the U.S.

>James Masterton: Thunder form Down Under

The 23 year old athlete form Australia is been spotted in Body Beach clicking his lap top trying to set up the parameter for the ignition, boost pressure and other parameters on his Turbo charged Ultra. He swapped his Australian turbo set up with an R&D one and still he tries to dial his transmission (pump and impeller) in order to get the mst out of it. According to well known tuner Bill Chapin the young guy is clever and determined to learn more in order to be competitive. Make sure you will not miss to see his JSL (Jet Ski Limited) Ultra on the race course. Canadian multi world and national champion Mike Klippenstein is on the head lines of this year’s World Finals once again. Mike is well known for his determination, his unique motivation and passion for pwc racing as well as his great skills in wrenching. He works all day long preparing and fixing up his seven race crafts as well as helping other Canadian riders, or even being a holder for them on the grid. He has already smashed the competition in Masters Stock Class and he is heading unstoppable to the GP Ski and Pro Ski Class.

>Anya Colley: The female rocket

There is no doubt about the fact that the young British rider Anya Colley is the girl to beat this year. She has been racing from one moto to the other and still she manages to be ahead of everyone else (men or women), simply be riding in a class of its own. She has been shown much stronger than last year and she gets better and faster lanes in the race course. We hope to see her playing key role in Pro Am women Ski on the last weekend of this racing week.

Frenchman world champion Brice Lopez will defend his world title in GP Ski class this year. He will be racing an S4 hull will a Sea Doo engine in it and lots of tricky parts on the transmission. Last years freestyle champion Japanese rider Watanabe Fumikazu showed up in Body Beach on a new race craft performing new tricks and a quadruple Rickter invert. He looks favorite for the title and his effort support: Fennec, Maekawa Engineering, 23 Factory, GWF, Gaku Factory, Alpha Marine Shop, Factory Zero and Bun Freestyle.

>Flores on a Standabout

Famous racer Rob Flores will compete in GP Ski class by using a Kawasaki hull (and deck with a triple 2T Kawasaki engine in it. Rob “Flow” Flores simply calls it “Standabout”. He used a modified triple engine that it is way to powerful for the driveline and finally he will use a stock triple engine with mild tuning. He is supported by: Raceski.com, Walt’s motorsports and Hydro Turf. He owes special thanks to his friend Minoru Kanamori.
