>Alpe Adria Cup

The second race of the Alpe Adria Cup was even better than the first race in Croatia. The race took place in Maribor last weekend –from 3.7.2009 to 5.7.2009. With 127 pilots Maribor highest occupied race since the foundation of the Alpe Adria Cup. In each Novice class (Stock and Open) 18 pilots brought the audience at the start to be amazed. Also the Runabout classes were really exciting with 15 top riders who had lots of difficult duels.And also the juniors showed that they will ride in the front field the coming years. >Jet Raid: Fuel consumption

The organizers present the following to all riders: “To tell them that the consumption will be critical in this edition it is to reiterate something that all you know. Due to consultations made by several pilots and that we have sent the notes to the director of the event, the Belgian Laurent Beyts, we want to advance you in advance enough the following observations. The fuel tank should be the original, and the taking of fuel for where it is filled the same thing. If the entrance of fuel or the vent are changed they will take it to original or the race direction will adjust them the liters to be given for the consumption stages, in way of to equal the possibilities of all and to avoid mistrust… To good listener, all will know how to presenting their PWC in it sprouts of departure.”

>Farthing wins the Karu Jet

Farthing finally finish on top in the Karu Jet, Prayas broke his pwc at 300m of the end. Second was Vincent Karam. The last race was on tv and follow on the beach for more than 10000 spectators. Superb week end in Porto Vecchio for the Team B7sport for the World championship UIM with Mikael Poret who become World Champion UIM Slalom. Good performance of Jeremy Poret too who takes the 3th place of the podium in Slalom and the 3th place in closed course. Final podium Slalom: 1 Mikael Poret, Jean Batiste Botti, 3 Jeremy Poret. Final podium in Closed course: 1 Steven Dauliach, 2 Franky Zapata, 3 Jeremy Poret. In ladies Class very good race for the Team B7sport again with the victory of Julie Bulteau (B7), Second place for Anya Colley(B7) and 3th place of Alicia Aida. In Runaboot class victory went to Teddy Pons, second to James Bushell and 3th to Jordi Thomas.

>Yamaha dominates Pro Runabout Stock

Chris MacClugage on his Yamaha FZR™ Sweeps the Pro Stock Class and Even Wins the Open Class on his Stock FZR. June 9, 2009: Yamaha continues its reign at the top of the PWC racing world, with rider Chris MacClugage, aboard his Yamaha FZR™, winning Rounds 5 & 6 of the APBA? Watercross National Tour this weekend in Myrtle Beach, SC. MacClugage has won every Pro-Am Runabout Stock Class moto this season. MacClugage’s domination of the races was evident this weekend as he lapped the field in the second moto of the Pro Stock class, and went on to enter his stock FZR in the Open Class to compete against highly modified watercraft - only to emerge the winner in that race as well. “We’ve already proven that the Yamaha FZR can completely dominate the APBA? Pro-stock class, but today we’ve taken it a step further and shown that it can also win the Open Class, even against heavily modified skis,” MacClugage said following the wins. “I already told Yamaha,” said Bill Chapin of R&D Performance Products. “The FZR is one great platform, and we’ve only just begun.”

Sunday, 7th of June was the first round of the world championship Aquabike UIM in Porto Vecchio, Corsica. The race was on 2 moto, each 15 minutes and one lap. Steven Dauliach is the great winner of this event with is 4th place in moto 1 and with the Win in moto 2. During moto one JB Botti get the holeshot in front of Jeremy Poret and Franky Zapata. Steven is 17th on the first lap because of a crash in the first corner, he came back from the back to the 4th place right in Franky Zapata’s wake for the finish lap. In moto 2 Franky Zapata get the holeshot following by JB Botti, Steven is 5th. Quickly JB Botti get the lead and Steven is second. On lap 8 Steven make a move on JB Botti and pass him, right after JB Botti is pulling out cause of the technical problems. Steven’s HSR was specially made for this event by Laurent Tourlant, Gino, Olivier Polo. Steven and his team have been working several weeks before this event to make it perfect. Romain Randazzo rider’s of Dauliach Jet Ski Racing was unlucky because a competitor crashed on him and destroyed his race boat during the Chrono session. Finally he get the 13th place for is first participation to an international event. Steven Dauliach is now leading the 2009 European Championship and the World championship.

A new race-adventure of 300 miles is born in Spain between the 27 and August 30 2009 Murcia and Almeria welcome the first European PWC Raid Championship that takes place in the history. The history of the raids has its European origin in Spain. If in 1987 the championships of raids of motorcycles and automobiles were born, in 1997 the national raids championship for PWC was born. Now, of the hand of JSBA Spain (Jet Sports Boating Association Spain), branch of IJSBA, the European Raid PWC Championship is born in whose organization the personnel's great part that started in the years ninety of the XX century the most noted national contest of raids will work and even of world environment, inside Spain. The European Raid PWC Championship will consist of 300 miles (540 kilometers) of race-adventure between the costs of Murcia and Almería, more concretely between those of the municipalities of San Pedro of the Pinatar and Mojácar, neuralgic centers of the competition among the days 27 and 30 of August of 2009. The selective waters of the MAR MENOR, for their temperature and for the demand as regards orientation, and the long tracts on the Mediterranean will mark such an unpublished race as singular. The adventurous aspect of this great raid, beyond the fight against the chronometer, will be reflected in the camps enabled there for the rest of the pilots where they conclude the stages and envelope the sands of beaches as beautiful as not very well-known.
