According to the recent announcement of Yamaha Europe, Nicolas Rius will compete only in Ski class this season, aboard his race prepared Super Jet. His team has not made any official announcements for this decision, though the correspondent from Yamaha Europe informed us that Rius will be appearing in Runabout class in the future, when Yamaha have available a competitive watercraft. In other words, Yamaha is developing a new four stroke engine and a sportive hull, with superb overall performance

Double world champion, Steven Dauliach, won the main event of the Pro Ski class at the Indoor Jet race in Belgium. The particular class had the most entries from any other class. The big attraction of the event, Nicolas Rius, did not race, for reasons that were not referred to the public. Frenchman, Teddy Pons climbed to the top of the podium after a remarkable race debut, winning in a class of his own, the Open Runabout class. The Frenchwoman Dujardin was ahead of the pack in the womens class, were she finished first ahead of Goundreau and Jacobs. Additionally, she ended up fifth in the mens Pro class.

>National Championship, 2nd round
The second round of the National Championship has taken place at the Chalkoutsi, Attikis, which was organized be the Hellenic Powerboat Association. Winner of the Pro Runabout class was multi champion, Akis Malouchos, ahead of Kampaflis and Sachinidis. Malouchos, additionally, he won the Pro Ski class rather easily. Durudakis climbed at the top of the podium of the Runabout Stock, while Lambousis and Malamatinis took the other two places. The second moto of each class was canceled due to the severe weather conditions. The Hellenic Powerboat Association has not announced yet, where the third round will be hosted.

The Yamaha WaveRunner VX110 Sport is the cheapest personal watercraft in the threeseater 4T Runabout class. Its price in the Greek market rises to 10.590euro, which makes it the most affordable solution, since the Kawasaki STX-12F costs 14.300euro and the Sea Doo GTI will set you back by 12.000euro. The VX110 Sport uses a four-cylinder engine that produces 110bhp.

>Rius world title GP1300R
Nicolas Rius after wining the World Finals did not allow anyone to have a look at his special prepared GP1300R. He used a different set up from what he had used in Europe during summer. The trickiest part is the triple exhaust pipes that are designed by his team and are fabricated by Factory Pipe. The chambers have different length; therefore, they provide different timing to the engine operation, spreading in a unique way the power band and adding simultaneously more power. Additionally, he has used side draft Spectrum carbs, Rius Racing cylinder heads and MSD ignition. His mechanic Christophe Girello has prepared the engine and hull.

>Dauliach goes four stroke
Frenchman Steven Dauliach has won World and European titles riding skis. Though, this year he will make his first appearance on a Runabout, he already practices on a RivaRacing Kawasaki Supercharged. He will remain on the Jet Fun Communication Team that is own by former jet ski racer Pascal Barriac. The team has not announced yet its official plans for this season, though we already know that Dauliach is a determined racer and he will raise the level of competition in the class, in Europe and at the World Finals. >Race clinics with Rius
Multi time champion, Nicolas Rius gives technical riding seminars for riders around the world. These Race Clinics, as they called, usually take place a day after a scheduled race of a European Round or an International event. Recently, Rius gave some seminars in Japan. Personally, I took part in one of his race clinics after that last round of the European Championship, which really improved my riding skill and thinking. Soon, Rius Racing Team will announce the Race Clinics that will be held in Europe.
