A team of personal watercraft racers escaped from the salty waters of Greece and headed for the smooth water of Lake Ladona, which is situated in the center of Peloponissos. This particular lake has a length of 15km and covers an area of 6.000square miles. The team had two three seaters and two stand ups, and camped near by the village of Mouria. From there the team started the exploration of the natural beauty of the bays and the fiords of the lake. At an elevation of 400m the eight riders explored the whole lake and reached up to the point where the famous river Ladonas is situated. The view was magnificent and the experience unique for the eight riders (Vasilis, Efi, Akis, Penny, Themis, Georgia, Chris and Eugenia), who mentioned that they will be back to the Lake for a new adventure.The Studios Driades is found in the center of Stavrothromi village and accommodated the team. The famous world winner Tera Laho is practicing hard on daily basis, in her native water of Lake Havasu, with one goal in mind, to win the world title in Pro Am Women Ski at the World Finals. According to the information taken from Rius Racing Team, Tera is working closely with chief mechanic of Rius Racing, Christophe Girello in order to create the best performance package, out of the Superjet platform. Rius Racing provided a picture of Tera Laho during her practice in Lake Havasu. Her come back in the racing scene is sponsored by: Full Spectrum, Boyesen, RickRoyProducts, Blowsion, UMI Racing, Advent and Rius Racing.

The French rider won the European title last year by outperforming in the womens’ class and additionally she got the 3rd place at the world finals. This season her SX-R is developed my Markus Erluch and her major sponsors are Motul, Opale evasion camping car, Man, Novi, Matos Import, Axiom publicite and her parents. At the first round of the European tour she got penalized and that is the reason she has fallen behind, though her performance is outstanding and she is favorite for the title. Recently, the 6th round of the National tour for the Greek Championship was cancelled, although it was scheduled to take place in the Ag. Nikolaos, of Crete. A place that has proved in the past its positive ideas for the sport of personal water craft racing. The race event in Itea is scheduled to take place at the last weekend of July.

The 5th round of the National personal watercraft championship was held at Menidi, Aitoloakarnanias. Multi Champion, Akis Malouchos was the winner of the Pro Ski class, winning with both motos, showing that nobody can threaten him. Malouchos was the protagonist in the Pro Runabout Open. He won the 2nd moto and finished second at the first leg of the race. His steady performance and the wins he has up to know, in conjunction with the accidents of some of his competitors and the DNF’s of his opponents (the accident of Kampaflis and Schinidis, and the DNF of Ladogiannis) have brought him closer to the desired Championship title.
