>Podium for Moraitis

The Greek rider Vasilis Moraitis participated in the Masters Ski Open class for a third year. He rode fairly well at the first moto and he managed to climb up to the sixth place, by riding a barely limited race craft (having only a cylinder head, pipe and impeller) among well prepared Superstocks. His ride was a lot better in the second moto where he reached up to second place (which he lost at the end of the race since he had not realized that he was in second place), a result that gave him the overall third place in the class. Moraitis is the only Greek rider who has ever reached the podium in a class of the World Finals of the IJSBA and the only one who has been giving points to his country for the past three years. For his success a much owed big “Thank you” to his race team from Seattle, a special thanks to Brian and his Greek mate Akis Malouchos.
