Two years ago Kawasaki decided to update the natural aspirated STX-15F to the STX160X version which basically featured a brand new deck with enhanced ergonomics and new aesthetics. The hull and drive line remained the same. It seems that Kawasaki will follow the same route for the Ultra model as far as we have been informed. Therefore for 2022 we expect to see a new Ultra with a redesigned deck scoping to alter the riding position and the overall ergonomics however it will have the same hull powered by the same 1500cc Supercharged engine. The Akashi company plans to introduce its own decelerate/brake system as well as some other cool features. The Japanese Kawasaki crew have been testing extensively in Europe in early summer of 2021 and they plan to do some more testing before the final presentation.
