VK Composites have produced four new carbon fiber parts for the Yamaha FX. Those parts are lighter and stronger than the oem parts. The weigh approximately 4,5kg and they cost (all of them) $1240.00. The oem parts weigh around 8-8.5kg. The new carbon parts will not only reduce the weight from the upper side of the boat but also they contribute to the new lower center of mass.
