Last weekend the athletes competed at the China Open in the 3.5 million Metropole of Liuzhou. The international event brought a great variety of international racers to the Chinese province. With three out of four Moto wins, Reiterer showed skills and dominated the China Open. The young water sport is constantly growing in China. With over 20 different sports stadiums specially made for Jetskiing and schools, which specialize in the sport. China is a country with a bright future and soon will be a worldwide competitor. In the last five years of competing in China the Austrian won three titles. “Racing against the best is awesome. Having the chance to travel around the world and meet new cultures is a big bonus of the sport. China is always something very special.” says Kevin. Ou Moeut Saly, Gold Medal winner of the Asian Games, won the Stock class and finished third at his first Pro Ski appearance respectively. Reiterer was satisfied with his young athlete but said there is still room for improvement. The Flamingo Team, which took both titles in the ski division classes this weekend delivered an excellent result. Now, it is time to get back home for the final preparation period before heading to the last races of the season. With the King’s Cup and the final ABP World Championship in Sharjah, December is going to be a month to look forward to.
