Famous tuner and owner of Jet Ski Unlimited Steve Webster makes his comments on new Yamaha FZ series: FZR and FZS. Basically the same boat with the exception of the rear seat and that the FZS (3 seater) has a boarding step and security mode. This is an awesome ski. Very quick with good handling. It is much shorter than the FX hull and is a completely new upper and lower deck. The new telescopic bars are very functional and allow you stand up and ride the ski and not feel cramped or bent over. It turns very well and handles the chop better than any other stock ski I have ridden. I would guess the top speed to be right at 67-69mph. This will be a great race ski with lots of potential for motor upgrades.
