In addition to the traditional rescue operation relying heavily on manpower, it has of late steadily introduced mechanical equipment such as rubber boats and helicopters. SLSA uses special modified pwcs for their rescue operations. Pwcs are expected to be the main equipment for the rescue operation in future.
