IJSBA has recently announced that the Personal Flotation Device that will be used by all riders has to be approved by the US Coast Guard, otherwise riders will not be allowed to race even if the are indigenous to other countries or by the EEC. The World Finals are being held in the USA, therefore for the riders safety IJSBA is strict and must follow the US Coast Guard regulations. All vests must have a Type I or Type III US Coast Guard stamp on them. No other vests will be allowed to be used.
